CST - Completion Selection Tool

To evaluate and monitor the performance of water or slurry injectors, the formation injectivity and fracture dimensions (if the formation is fractured) are determined by the data from pressure and temperature logging and well tests such as step rate tests (SRTs) and pressure fall off tests (PFOs). Advantek has developed a series of advanced technologies/methodologies in addition to the existing conventional tools to analyze the data from well testing and pressure/temperature recording. Those methodologies include a new method of analyzing PFOs using the solutions to closing finite and infinite conductivity fracture which are initially based on the Koning and ven den Hoek’s formulations, and the some effective procedures of analyzing SRT data for multi-rate fluid flow during fracture opening /propagating.

ADVANTEK has also hosted an industry JIP of produced water re-injection (PWRI) and accumulated vast data of PFOs and SRTs from various fields/projects in the world. The data either have shown many successful examples of the PWRI technology, or have shown the applicability of the fracture simulators (@Frac, PWFrac) and pressure transient analyzing (PTA) software/procedures
