Mr. Duchesne has an extensive background in geomechanics and rock mechanics with specific work experience in areas of: evaluating reservoir compaction, subsidence and well casing integrity; analyzing reservoir compaction and surface subsidence fore several major operating companies, using well testing data, logging data, laboratory test results and reservoir simulation results; determining the influence of compressibility on field exploitation options and waterflood requirements; assessing and evaluating geomechanics issues for wellbore stability, hardware integrity, sand management, mud weight design and drill cuttings injection; technology and software development; obtaining rock mechanics properties from Log data; buckling analysis; offshore mooring system design, applying solid and fluid mechanics to dynamic mooring systems; numerical modeling of naturally fractured reservoirs: single and multi-phase flow in fractured porous media; stress-dependent permeability, borehole stability, and experimental rock property measurements.
