Marty has over 38 years of industry experience spanning R&D, engineering and operations as a manager and individual contributor. He is a former Senior Executive Consultant with BP Exploration where he most recently managed MoBPTeCh a four-company broad-based E&P technology collaborative with Mobil, BP, Texaco and Chevron. He joined BP [then Standard Oil] in 1983 as Chief Reservoir Engineer and served in Alaska as Manager Reservoir and Petroleum Engineering for Prudhoe Bay field. Subsequently, he was Technology Manager and also responsible for reservoir engineering staff development in the US. Prior to joining BP, he worked 23 years for Gulf Oil, holding a variety of reservoir and production engineering assignments in worldwide E&P technology. Geographic and technical areas of expertise include: USA [Alaska, Gulf of Mexico, Permian Basin], Canada, West Africa [Nigeria, Gabon, Cabinda, Angola, Zaire] North Sea and Venezuela.
